The obstacles to overcome to sell

To make a sell requires several factors in order to convert it attractive to the clients. And when attending a potential customer is necessary to awaken in him that desire to buy and give him good options to do so.


Zig Ziglar, who was considered one of the biggest sellers in the world, listed five obstacles that all sales process must overcome.

Lack of needs
If people do not know what they really need, it is the seller´s moment to create new needs. Apple, for example, did it with the iPad. That company created that need in the people and now it has become a device desired by many without first thinking about its existence.


Lack of money
When money scarces and people want to buy what they want but they just can´t, the product to be sold needs to be more interesting, exclusive and economical than it was. Customers value money and even if they have cash to buy that product, they might have other priorities.


Lack of haste

Having a product that the customer cannot wait to buy it does it quickly, although it does not have to be a necessity, but such rush does not arise when buying food, for example. That is why you must give added value to boost the product to sell and thus earn that type of sales.


Lack of desire
It is very different to need a sport car than to desire a sport car because although you want to have it does not mean it is necessary for an architect, for example. An investigation about the reasons why need does not becomes desire must be done in order to potentiate the desire and encourage the client to make the purchase.


Lack of confidence
Many factors can cause people to not have confidence in acquire some products: economic and labor situation to say a few. Taking advantage of that moment, you can provide that confidence to win one more customer.
